Marvin L. ?Reb? Gilliland, Sr., age 81, of New Egypt died Tuesday, October 5 at home. Born in Princeton, NJ, he was a resident of New Egypt for the past 44 years, and formerly of Bordentown. Reb was a retired tree trimmer with Asplundh Tree Service in Willow Grove, PA. He also was an avid gardener and beekeeper. Reb is survived by his wife, Elsie (nee Foster) Gilliland; a son, Marvin L. ?Reb? Gilliland, Jr. and wife Angel of Browns Mills; two brothers, three sisters; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services for Reb will be held on Thursday, October 7 at 11:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
