Obituary of Margaret B. Dauphars

Margaret B. Dauphars, age 81, of Jacobstown died Tuesday, October 19 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Trenton, she lived there and Hammonton before moving to Jacobstown in 1963. Margaret graduated from Cathedral High School in Trenton in 1947. She was a school bus driver for Stubby Stevens in Jacobstown and also for the North Hanover Township Schools and a parishioner at the Church of the Assumption. Margaret was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and being out with the birds. Her family would like to thank Samaritan Hospice for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided to her. Margaret was predeceased by a son, Michael J. Dauphars and a brother, Frank Kroschwitz. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Francis L. Dauphars; two sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Jill Dauphars of Mogadore, OH and James and Karen Dauphars of Yardville; a daughter, Joanne Dauphars of Jacobstown and three grandchildren, Meredith Dauphars, Danielle Dauphars and Jack Dauphars. Funeral and committal services for Margaret will be held on Friday, October 22 at 10:30 AM at the chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 8:30 to 10:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Due to cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret?s memory can be made to the Jacobstown First Aid Squad, 41 Schoolhouse Road, Jacobstown, NJ 08562.
