Andrew J. Hlubik, Sr., age 88, of New Egypt died Friday, January 21 at his residence. Born in Arneytown, he was a former resident of Bordentown before moving to New Egypt in 1952. Andy was a self employed farmer and his family still operates one of the last few remaining dairy farms in Ocean County. He was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt. Andy was predeceased by his wife, Marie G. Hlubik and a daughter-in-law, Edith (Grant) Hlubik. He is survived by two sons, John Hlubik of New Egypt and Andrew Hlubik, Jr. and wife Mary Jane also of New Egypt; a sister, Susanne Murawski of Ewing; four grandchildren, John Hlubik, Andrew Hlubik III, Patrick Hlubik and Erin Martin and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 28 at 1:00 PM at St. Andrew?s Catholic Church, 2489 Monmouth Road (Route 537), Jobstown, NJ 08041 with Father Joseph Hlubik, officiating.
