Donald T. Solarski, age 76, of Crosswicks died Thursday, February 17 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Newark, NJ he was a lifetime Crosswicks area resident. Don was a veteran of the US Navy, serving from 1953 to 1957. He was previously employed as a manager in the hardware department of Two Guys Department Store in Bordentown and most recently as a security guard for Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal in Princeton. Don was a member of the Church of Christ in New Egypt and a former member of the V.F.W. in Yardville. Don was predeceased by his parents, William and Violet Solarski. He is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Theresa Solarski of Wrightstown, Theodore and Marilyn Solarski of Bordentown and Gerald and Shirley Solarski of Mansfield Twp., many nieces and nephews and also survived by many friends. Funeral services for Don will be held on Sunday, February 20 at 3:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Pastor Steve Brown, officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. Entombment will take place on Tuesday, February 22 at 12:00 Noon at the Princeton Memorial Park Mausoleum, 403 Gordon Road in Robbinsville.
