Betty L. Moran, age 71, of Browns Mills died Monday, March 14 at home. Born in Weston, WV, she was a resident of Browns Mills for the past 30 years. During her childhood, Betty lived on several share cropper farms before moving to Baltimore at the age of 18. She worked at Howard Johnson?s on the NJ Turnpike and also ACME Markets for 11 years. Betty enjoyed working in her yard and tending to her flower gardens and she and her husband were married in their backyard by the Pemberton Twp. Mayor in 1981. She also enjoyed helping the elderly. She was a member of St. Ann?s Church in Browns Mills. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Harley and Addie Scurti. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Moran; a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and William Hubbell; a son, Patrick E. Moran and a grandson, Tyler Hubbell. Funeral services for Betty will be held on Monday, March 21 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with calling hours from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Interment services will be on Wednesday, March 23 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown.
