Barbara Ann Brooks VanRomondt
Granite Falls, NC ? Mrs. Barbara Ann Brooks VanRomondt, 72, of Granite Falls, NC, formerly of Wrightstown, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, May 5, 2011.
She was born May 12, 1938 in Washington County, Virginia to the late Millard F. Brooks and Jewel Carter Books.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred ?Mike? VanRomondt.
She is survived by her daughter Katherine Lail and her fianc? Allan Canipe and her brother Bob Brooks and his wife Janelle all from Granite Falls, NC. Mrs. VanRomondt is also survived by two grandsons; Nicholas Lail and Gavin Canipe both from Granite Falls, NC.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m. at the Springfield Meeting House Cemetery on Highland Road in Springfield Twp.
Memorials may be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC, 28645.
