Obituary of H. William Rousseau

Rev. H. William Rousseau, age 85, of Wrightstown died Friday, June 17 at home. Born in Tullytown, PA, he moved to New Jersey in 1941, living in Groveville before moving to Wrightstown 22 years ago. Bill served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific area. He worked in the quality control department of Princeton Applied Research, retiring in 1987 after 25 years. Since 1964, Bill served the United Methodist Church as part-time Pastor in Smithville, Chambers of Hamilton Township, Windsor and Fieldsboro. He was also an Exempt Member of the Groveville Fire Company. Son of the late J. Elmer & Ella K. Rousseau, Bill is survived by his wife of 63 years, Josephine M. ?Sis? (nee Thompson) Rousseau; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Rev. William C. Rousseau of Massachusetts and David B. and Kathryn Rousseau of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Daniel, Karen and David W. Rousseau and two great grandchildren, Austin and Mason all of Tennessee and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 21 at 9:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with Rev. Ed Conway officiating. Interment will follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Monday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
