Daniel Lacidonia, age 50, of Summit, NJ died Thursday, July 14 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Annapolis, MD before moving to Summit two years ago. Dan served 20 years in the US Navy and also 10 years in the Naval Reserves. He was a member of the Elks Springfield-Hillside Lodge No. 2004 in Springfield, NJ. Dan is survived by his fianc?e, Dawn Knowlden of Summit; his mother, Marie Lacidonia of Toms River; two daughters, Tara Lacidonia and her fianc?, Dylan Linebarger of Annapolis, MD and Danielle Lacidonia also Annapolis; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Mangold of Vernon Hills, IL and Renee and John Fitzpatrick of Jackson, NJ; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Debbie Lacidonia of Forked River, NJ and Michael and Merry Lacidonia of Beijing, China; his former wife, Roxanne Lacidonia of Annapolis, MD and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Dan will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover Twp., NJ.
