Cream Ridge - John J. ?Jack? Walsh, age 66, of Cream Ridge passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Born in Paterson, N.J., he was a long time resident of Clifton, before moving to Cream Ridge 12 years ago. Jack was a self-employed truck driver. He owned and operated J & L Trucking. Jack was a member of The Antique Truck Club of America and The American Truck Historical Society. Jack was predeceased by his father and mother, John and Cecilia (Leffler) Walsh. He is survived by his wife Lillian (Schatz) Walsh of Cream Ridge; a son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Rosanne Walsh III of Forked River; a daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Cosmo DeGennaro of Lumberton; a step-son, Ryan Adams and wife Lori of Virginia Beach, Va.; 2 sisters, Kathy Romeo and Patricia Toth; 2 grandchildren, Cosmo Jr. and Ashley and Jack?s former spouse, Patricia Fleming. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at 10am at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, N.J. 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com). Burial will follow in the Church of Assumption Cemetery, Evergreen Rd., New Egypt. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
