Robert E. ?Bobby? Davidson, age 56, of Wrightstown died Thursday, May 3 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Trenton, he was raised in Columbus/Mansfield Twp., and had lived in Springfield Twp. before moving to Wrightstown 3 years ago. Bobby was a truck driver for Herman?s Trucking in Wrightstown and he was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed. Son of the late Earl Davidson, Bobby is survived by his wife, Betty (nee Waite) Davidson; his mother, Helen Davidson of Southampton; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie & Heather Davidson of Lumberton; a daughter, Kelly Davidson and husband Michael Searles of New Egypt; a brother, Carl Davidson of Bordentown; two sisters, Cheryl Sexton of Browns Mills and Cindy Quinn of Southampton; five grandchildren, Chucky, Brandon, Ronnie, Drake and Dylan and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
