New Egypt ? Margarita E. Perez of New Egypt, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County. She was 75. She was born in Willington, Kansas, she was a resident of Ewing before moving to New Egypt in 1988. Margarita was a member of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt, Fort Dix Officers Wives Club, Military Officers Association of America and the N.J. Association for the Education of Young Children. She was employed for many years as a child caregiver at Princeton Day Care and Leaning Steps Children School. Predeceased by her parents, Carlos and Jesusita Jimenez; a sister Nancy and a brother, Carlos Jr. She is survived by her husband of ? years, John Perez of New Egypt; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, David and Susan Perez of Trenton; Stephen Perez of New Egypt; 3 brothers, Tomas, Cevaro and Esteban; 6 sisters, Maria, Teresa, Juanita, Ramona, Anita and Carmen; one grandchild, Guadalupe Perez; best friends, Bernadette and Michael Bulko and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11a.m., Wednesday, November 23 at the Church of the Assumption Chapel, 76 Evergreen Rd., New Egypt, N.J. 08533. Burial will follow in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be from 6 to 9p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, N.J. 08533. Due to cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margarita's memory may be made to MOAA, Ladies of Lakes & Pines Chapter, P. O. Box 3, Fort Dix, NJ 08640.
