Obituary of Harriett H. Flynn

Harriett H. (nee Fillius) Flynn, age 76, of Juliustown died Wednesday, January 3 at her son?s home in Springfield Twp. Born in Mt. Holly, she was a life time area resident. Harriett had retired from Pemberton High School as assistant to the head cook. She also had worked at W.T. Grant in Mt. Holly as a cook, and also worked at Buttonwood Hospital in New Lisbon, Ocean Spray in Bordentown and at the Burlington Co. Shoe Factory in Mt. Holly. Harriett was a member of the Juliustown United Methodist Church, the Juliustown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the Pemberton Senior Citizens Club and she loved to collect antique furniture. Wife of the late John H. Flynn and sister of the late Donald and Warren Fillius and Virginia Woolston; Harriett is survived by five sons, John W. & Ruth Flynn of Juliustown, Gregory & Trisha Flynn of Willow Grove, PA, Kenneth E. & Nikki Flynn of Brick, Mark W. Flynn of Juliustown and Bruce Flynn of Springfield Twp.; two brothers, Harry & Ruth Fillius of Tabernacle and Jerome & Mary Fillius of Westville; five sisters, Margaret Kiehl of Florissant, MO, Verna & James Green of St. Joseph, TN, Romaine Link of Browns Mills, Elaine Sime of Mauldin, SC and Phyllis & Harvey Abrams of Burlington; her grandchildren, Mary Guerriero, John Flynn, Laura & Erin Flynn, Robert, Brandon, Brianne, Brittney, Brooke, Hillary & Aidan Flynn; her great grandchildren, Michael & Gianna Guerriero, Melisa & Selin Flynn and Marc Flynn and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6 at 11:00 AM at the Juliustown United Methodist Church, 415 Main Street in Juliustown, with Rev. Carmine Coppola and Donna Waters, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Calling hours will be on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) and on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Harriett?s memory may be made to the Juliustown United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 195, Juliustown, NJ 08042 or to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, P. O. Box 820, Browns Mills, NJ 08015-0820
