Obituary of Walter Kaczor

Walter Kaczor, age 86, of North Hanover Township died peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer with his beloved family by his side on Monday, January 23. Born in Robbinsville, NJ, he was a resident of North Hanover for the past 57 years. Walt was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Central Europe and Rhineland with Company K, 353rd Infantry. He was a retired bus driver for the Northern Burlington Regional Schools, driving for 33 years. Walt was also a police officer in both North Hanover and New Hanover Townships in the mid 1960?s to the early 1970?s and a member of the VFW. But first and foremost, Walt enjoyed farming, which he did all of his life. Walt was predeceased by his siblings, Ted Kaczor, Mary Siorek and Bertha Gandor. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Kaczor; a son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Lisa Kaczor of Cream Ridge; a daughter, Donna Kaczor of North Hanover; two granddaughters, Alyssa and Jessica Kaczor of Cream Ridge; five brothers, Joseph Kaczor of Ellisdale, Alex Kaczor of Yardville, John Kaczor of North Hanover, Victor Kaczor of Virginia and Carl Kaczor of Yardville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Walt will be held on Friday, January 27 at 10:00 AM at the Jacobstown Baptist Church, 49 Jacobstown-Arneytown Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562 (www.jbcchurch.com), with burial to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Family and friends may call on Thursday evening, January 26 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the church. Due to cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Walt?s memory may be made to the New Egypt First Aid, P. O.
