William P. MECHLER of Waterford, formerly of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ; passed April 20, 2012 at 89 years of age. Dear husband of the late Doris; loving father of Pat (Mark) Watson and John Mechler; special grandfather to Kimberly Lafferty-Kelly, Brian Lafferty, Jennifer Lafferty-Dunsky, and Molly (Brian) Miller; great grandfather of Chloe and Cameron; brother to Mildred McBain Egedio and Frances Stafford. William is an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII, he loved to fish and golf but most of all he loved his family.
Visitation : Family will receive friends Monday from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME – Waterford.
Funeral Service :
Funeral Mass, Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 5481 Dixie Highway, Waterford, MI 48329.
Interment services will take place at the chapel of the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, New Jersey on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11:30 a.m.
