Violet E. Cannizzo, age 95, of Aventura, FL died Wednesday, June 13 at Vitas Health Care in Aventura. Born in Clifton, NJ she lived there until moving to Florida in 1991.
Violet worked in the accounting field in Clifton and always enjoyed summering on Long Beach Island, NJ
Wife of the late Salvatore Cannizzo and mother of the late Anthony Cannizzo, she is survived by her daughter Gay Cannizzo also of Aventura, FL.
Funeral services for Violet will be held on Tuesday, June 19 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
