Wilma M. Grant, age 86, of Jensen Beach, FL died Wednesday, June 13 at Capital Health System at Fuld in Trenton, NJ. Born in Prospertown, NJ, she was a resident of New Egypt before moving to Florida 26 years ago. Wilma had worked on the Grant family farm in New Egypt for many years and she also did bookkeeping for the Post Exchange on Fort Dix, NJ and also for Vernon Dancer Stables in New Egypt. She was a member of the Sphinx Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star in New Egypt and was a Past Matron of Honor and also a Past Grand Officer. Wilma is survived by her husband of 67 years, Raymond J. Grant; a son, Raymond Curt Grant and wife VeeAnn of New Egypt; a daughter, Margaret K. Crain and husband Russell of New Egypt; a sister, Margaret Havens of Jackson, NJ; seven grandchildren, Russell N. Crain, Eugene J. Crain, Raymond Curt Grant, Jr., Thomas W. Grant, Patricia May Grant, Michael R. Grant and Nicholas J. Grant; 2 great grandchildren, Brinley and Naomi Crain and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Wilma will be held on Friday, June 15 at 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com), with calling hours from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
