Mae C. Laviolette, age 89, of Wrightstown died Saturday, September 22 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in Barre, VT, she was a resident of Wrightstown since 1969 and formerly of Cookstown. Mae had been an inspector for Monsanto in Yardville and also was a bus aide for Pemberton Township schools. She was a member of the VFW Post 6590 Ladies Auxiliary in Cookstown and loved to visit the casinos. Mae was predeceased by her husband, Roland Laviolette, Sr. She is survived by three sons, Roland Laviolette, Jr. and wife Brenda of New Lisbon, David Laviolette and wife Susan of Browns Mills and Richard Laviolette and wife Joyjin of Somersworth, NH; three daughters, Pearl Oppliger of Westminster, CO, Lois Bittner of Tabernacle and Janice Green of Jacobstown; a sister, Betty Webster of Groton, VT; nineteen grandchildren; 26 ½ great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mae will be held on Thursday, September 27 at 11:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 at the funeral home.
