Raymond E. Davidson, age 67, of New Egypt died Saturday, January 27 at his residence. Born in Suffolk County, NY, Ray had been a resident of New Egypt since 1983. He retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant with 28 years of service. After his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for the Civil Defense Group/Civil Air Patrol at McGuire AFB and also was employed by the NJ United Christian Academy in Cream Ridge. Ray was a member and elder at the Lifeway Christian Fellowship Church in Wrightstown. He is survived by his wife, Noi Davidson of New Egypt; a son, Dan Davidson of Browns Mills; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane & Patrick Ahearn of Cream Ridge; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol & Chuck Miller of Tiro, Ohio and a grandson, Matthew Ahearn. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31 at 1:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt with Pastor Mark Brookhart, officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
