Obituary of Daniel Stillwell

Daniel Stillwell, Jr., age 77, of New Egypt died Saturday, January 19 at RWJ University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Cream Ridge, he was a life time area resident.
Dan worked as a foreman for Asplundh Tree Experts and later was a truck driver for Liedtka Trucking in Trenton and Malone Freight Lines of Alabama. For the last 15 years he had his own business, BJ’s Mower Repair in New Egypt.
Dan was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Dora (Conk) Stillwell, a brother, James and a sister, Jennie. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jean (Orts) Stillwell; seven children, daughter Linda Jean Brown and husband Joseph of Roebuck, SC and their children, Pamela Jean Blackwell, Samantha Lynn Padgett and Alexandra Jo Brown, son Daniel Alan Stillwell and wife Betty Ann of New Egypt and their children, Courtney Stillwell and Rachel Stillwell, son Kenneth Lee Stillwell and wife Kimberly of New Egypt and their children, Kassandra Stillwell and Kenneth Stillwell, Jr., son George D. Stillwell and wife Norma Jean of Cream Ridge and their children George F. Stillwell and Renee Allison Stillwell, son Glen W. Orts and wife Darlene of Browns Mills and their children, Virginia Pennington, Veronica Suhol and Victoria Barlow-Emily, daughter Lynn Sample of Califon, NJ and her children Charles and Cristin Intravartolo and son Stephen Stanhope and wife Cheryl of Allentown and their three children. Dan is also survived by his siblings, John Stillwell of Wrightstown, Ty Stillwell of South Boston, VA, William Stillwell of Wrightstown, Ellis Stillwell of Wrightstown and Brenda Stillwell of Arizona.
Funeral services for Dan will be held on Wednesday, January 23 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow in Zion Cemetery in New Egypt. Family and friends may call on Tuesday evening, January 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
