Obituary of Earl L. LaComb

Earl L. LaComb, age 81, of New Egypt died Monday, May 20 at Community Hospital in Toms River. Born in Cookstown, he was a lifetime area resident.
Earl was a self-employed electrician for many years in New Egypt. He was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the American Legion Post 455 in New Egypt and a member of the Air Force Association. Earl was a member of the Cookstown United Methodist Church and also the New Egypt Lions Club. He will be remembered for his sense of humor.
Earl was predeceased by his wife Lina LaComb and his siblings, Frank LaComb, Amy Sexton, Ruth Wray and Gloria Matherlee. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Christine LaComb of New Egypt, a daughter, Wanda LaComb of Whiting; his fiancée, Marion O’Hagan of New Egypt; a brother, Paul LaComb of Mobile, AL; four grandchildren, Heather Lenhart and Robert, James and Hayley LaComb and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Earl will be held on Saturday, May 25 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to Noon at the funeral home. The interment will take place on Friday, May 31 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown.
