Charles Robert “Bobby” Shaw, age 49, of Beachwood, NJ died Saturday, June 22 in Toms River. Born in Trenton, he was a longtime New Egypt area resident before living in North Carolina for two years and Beachwood for the past year. Bobby was a self-employed carpenter and had previously worked at the Stanley Dancer Farm in New Egypt for 18 years. He was a US Navy Veteran and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bobby was predeceased by his father, Charles C. Shaw. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy (nee Bendy) Shaw of Bladenboro, NC; five brothers and sisters, Lisa Jernigan of White Oak, NC and David Shaw, Thomas Shaw, Kim Gardner and Tammy Inman all of Bladenboro, NC; several aunts and uncles and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services for Bobby will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt, NJ with calling hours from 11:00 AM until noon at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
