Wayne A. Tollefson, age 71, of Cookstown died Monday, November 4 at home. Born in Everett, WA, he lived in Winton, CA before moving to Cookstown in March. Wayne retired from the US Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of service from 1961 to 1982. He also was a member of the VFW Post in Cookstown. Wayne is survived by his wife, Patsy (nee Davis) Tollefson; a son, Art Tollefson of Cookstown; a daughter, Sandra Tollefson of Merced, CA; two brothers, Carroll Tollefson and Myron Tollefson both of Everett, WA; five grandchildren, Wayne, Jeffery, Erick, Steven and Curtis and four great grandchildren, Jeffery, Dylan, Travis and Gavan. Funeral services for Wayne will be held on Friday, November 8 at 12:30 PM at the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
