Frank G. Bendy, Jr., age 66, of New Lisbon, died Sunday, November 10 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Cookstown, Chesterfield and Browns Mills before moving to Aspen Hills Healthcare Center in New Lisbon two years ago. Frank had been employed as a maintenance man for the Columbus Farmers Market in Columbus for many years. He was also a fan of any Philadelphia sports team especially the Philadelphia Phillies. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank G. and Mary (Gravatt) Bendy, Sr. He is survived by three sisters, Florence Pine of Browns Mills, Dorothy Shaw of North Carolina and Shirley Washburn of Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A viewing for Frank will be held on Thursday, November 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com). Funeral services will be on Friday, November 15 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Tabernacle Church, 128 Georgetown-Wrightstown Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562, with burial to follow in the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery in Jacobstown.
