Obituary of Mary Jane Jakubicki

Mary Jane (Brodacki) Jakubicki, age 88, of Wrightstown, passed away December 9 after a long struggle with her health. The daughter of Anthony and Helen Brodacki of Poland, Mary was born in Center Line, Warren Twp., Michigan, June 29, 1925. She married Bogdan Jakubicki December 27, 1952, and spent 32 years as an Air Force wife and mother stationed at bases in Utah, Maine, New York, Texas, the Azores, Germany, Michigan, and New Jersey. The Jakubickis settled in Wrightstown, New Jersey, in 1974, where Mary was a homemaker who also worked part time at Norelco in Hightstown and Holly Cleaners in Wrightstown. She was a communicant of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt. She is survived by her loving Husband Bogdan and their daughter Barbara Jakubicki, their three sons Gary (Linda), Jeffrey (Vilma), and Mark, two grandchildren, Marisha and Paul Joseph, and many devoted nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucy Kniffel and Agnes Pavlik, and four brothers, Stanley Misiuk, twin brothers Joe and John Brodacki, and Henry Brodacki, all of Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 16 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 28 Monmouth Road (Route 537), Wrightstown, NJ 08562 with interment to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, December 15 from 6:00 to 8 PM and again on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt, NJ (www.tilghmanfh.com). Due to cemetery restrictions, In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Association of Marian Helpers (thedevinemercy.org) PO Box 716, Stockbridge, MA 01262.
