Douglas Kliess Van Hest, 74 of Wrightstown, passed away on Sunday December 22, 2013 in Trenton. Born in Woodbury, he lived in Wrightstown and worked for the North Hanover Schools as a custodian before retiring. Douglas was a US Army Veteran.
Douglas is survived by his wife Virginia Mary Stewart Van Hest ; son Joseph and wife Sarah Van Hest; daughter Michelle and husband John DeCarlo; six grandchildren, AnnaMarie, Alyssa, Kalie Lynn, Alana, Rayne, and Ryan. He is also survived by 3 sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law.
Services are private and under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ 08533. Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Hest family care of the funeral home.
