Janice M. Greene-Snyder, age 75, of Cream Ridge passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22 at the Masonic Home of NJ in Burlington with her loving family by her side. Born in Bristol, VA, she was a resident of Yardville for 20 years before moving to live with her daughter in Cream Ridge 3 years ago. Janice, the youngest of seven children, was the daughter of a Baptist Minister and grew up as an active member in her church. She always had a love for music, especially singing with her sisters, who were known recording artists called “The Whitson Sisters”. Janice loved children, especially her three granddaughters who she adored. Janice was predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Cartie (Combs) Whitson and by two siblings, Clarence Whitson Jr. and Helen Booher. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Doug Kaczor of Cream Ridge and Karen and Rob Rankin of Crestview, FL; a son, Jim Greene, Jr. of Hamilton Square; three granddaughters, Alyssa and Jessica Kaczor of Cream Ridge and Hayley Burgess of Crestview, FL; a sister, Carolyn Holloway of Dallas, TX; three brothers, Herbert Whitson of Churchill, TN, Bobby Whitson of Houston, TX and Larry Whitson of Morristown, TN and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Janice will be held on Sunday, March 2 at 7:30 PM at the Jacobstown Baptist Church, 49 Jacobstown-Arneytown Road, Jacobstown, NJ 08562 with Rev. Edward Hlad officiating. Calling hours will be on Sunday evening, March 2 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the church. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Janice’s name may be made to the Jacobstown Baptist Church at the address above.
