Stylianos (Steve) Rotsides, age 63, of Wrightstown, NJ passed away Wednesday at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Cyprus, he came to the United States in 1971 as a student. With a soccer scholarship from Farleigh Dickinson University he graduated in 1976 with a B.S. in Accounting. He co-owned the Garden State Diner since 1985 with his cousin Zacharias Rotsides.
He is survived by his loving wife Panayiota, his seven children: Lisa, Nicolas, Andreas (Wife Jennifer), Marios, Adamos, George and Photis, grandson Steven, five siblings: Loizos of Australia, Nitsa, Yiannis, and Kostas of Cyprus, Maria Gkionis of Jackson, NJ, his god-daughter Katina Baker of Westampton, NJ, step-mom Photini, and many other loving relatives.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, May 4th from 5-7 p.m. at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, 615 Mercer Street in Cherry Hill, NJ. Additional viewing time will precede the funeral on Monday May 5th from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will follow. He will be interred at Locustwood Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steve's name may be made to the St. Thomas Senior Citizens Home, 615 Mercer Street, Cherry Hill, NJ 08022.
