Obituary of Ronald C. Hand

Ronald C. Hand, age 82, of Jacobstown passed away Sunday, July 5 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Jacobstown since 1959.
Ronald was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He received his BA Degree from Rutgers University and worked as an administrative analyst for the NJ Department of Transportation. Ronald was a member of the Central Jersey Gun Club, he was an avid cigar aficionado and collected antique garden tractors and enjoyed riding them in his yard while smoking his cigars. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, he was the greatest husband, father and grandfather anyone could ask for.
Ronald was predeceased by his wife, Dolores (Zinser) Hand, a son, Jeffrey Hand and a grandson, Seth Hand. He is survived by four children, Sharon Hand and husband James Myers of Egg Harbor, Norman Hand and wife Janet of Jacobstown, Susan Devereux and husband Bradd of Juliustown and Adam Hand and wife Michelle of Juliustown; and two grandchildren, Megan Hand and Cale Devereux.
A memorial service for Ronald will be held on Thursday, July 9 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) with calling hours from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home on Thursday morning.
