Obituary of Dolores E. Ervin

Dolores E. Ervin, age 83, of Wrightstown passed away Thursday, July 23 at RWJ University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she lived in Wrightstown since 1979 and formerly lived in Hamilton Twp. Dolores had previously worked at Cybis Porcelain in Trenton and most recently was the cafeteria manager at the New Egypt Elementary School. She was a member of the American Legion Post 455 Auxiliary in New Egypt, she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, bingo and working on crossword puzzles. Best most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Fred Ervin, Sr. and by a son, Fred Ervin, Jr. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Bonnie and Alan Quesnel of New Egypt, Kathy and Eddie Roman of New Egypt, Harry and Hazel Ervin of Conway, SC and Mark and Vicki Ervin of Manchester, VT; four siblings, Ronnie Clark and Bobby Clark both of Hamilton Twp., Sheridan Clark of Lumberton and Mary Hones of Philadelphia; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services for Dolores will be held on Wednesday, July 29 at 10:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com) with burial to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown. Calling hours will be on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to cemetery restrictions, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Dolores’ name can be made to the New Egypt Vol. Fire Co. or to the New Egypt First Aid Squad.
