Noi (nee Segawa) Davidson, age 86, of New Egypt passed away Thursday, November 12 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Born in Morioka, Japan, she was a resident of New Egypt since 1983. Noi was very active in a Baptist Church at each of the military bases where she lived with her late husband during his military career. She often acted as a language translator during tours in Japan. Her hobbies included playing the piano and the Koto, and she enjoyed Ikebana (flower arranging). Noi was predeceased by her husband, Raymond E. Davidson. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Patrick Ahearn of New Egypt; a son and his fiancé, Dan Davidson and Barbara Puryear of Browns Mills; a grandson Matthew Ahearn; two brothers, Masayuki Segawa of Morioka, Japan and Kazuo Segawa of Shiwa-Gun, Japan and a sister, Fumi Fugiwara of Shiwa-Gun, Japan. Funeral services for Noi will be held on Thursday, November 19 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road in Wrightstown. Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com).
