Elizabeth B. Jones, 88, of Whiting passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at AristaCare at Whiting. She was born in Burlington Township to the late Edward Grover and Elizabeth (Carson) Grover and lived in Cookstown but spent most of her life in Cream Ridge. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, husband Earl Jones, daughter-in-law Joan Jones and sister Mary Ann Scully. She leaves behind 4 sons; Mike Jones of Whiting, Bruce Jones and wife Jean of Toms River, Charles Jones and wife Mary of Vero Beach FL, Donald Jones and wife Penny of Ewing. She also leaves behind her brother Joseph Grover of Southampton, brother-in-law Al Scully of Southampton, 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 6PM to 8PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533 (TilghmanFH.com). A funeral service will be held during calling hours at 7:30PM. Interment will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 3PM at the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery, 49 Jacobstown - Arneytown Road, Jacobstown NJ 08562. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Elizabeth’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
