Michael Joseph Lebers, 43, of New Egypt, formerly of Kenilworth, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Born in Lakewood to Carol A. Burke and the late Warren H. Lebers Jr., he spent his early and childhood years living in Millstone. Michael worked for Keyspan Energy in Staten Island NY for many years and was a 9/11 First Responder where he worked on repairing and installing new gas lines near Ground Zero. In his spare time Michael loved to hunt, fish and spend time outdoors. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Michael is predeceased by his father and his nephew Jeffery Buckalew Jr. He is survived by his mother Carol Megill and her husband Richard of Jackson; his brother Warren H. Lebers III of Jackson; his sister Lisa Buckalew and her husband Jeff of New Egypt; two nieces Alissa Lebers and Christa Lebers; two nephews Joshua Buckalew and Justin Buckalew and his wife Crystal; and two great-nieces Alexandria Buckalew and Luna Buckalew. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 10AM to 2PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt NJ 08533 (TilghmanFH.com). A funeral service will begin at 2PM. Cremation will be private.
