Obituary of Carmine A. Sparaco

Carmine A. Sparaco, age 80, of Southampton, NJ passed away Wednesday, December 16 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was a resident of Southampton for the past 10 years and formerly lived in Medford and Jobstown. Carmine proudly served with the US Marine Corps during Vietnam and he was a retired drywall contractor. Carmine is survived by his wife, Linda Sparaco; a son, Carmen Sparaco and wife Beth of Tabernacle; three daughters, Tina Sparaco Perez of San Diego, CA, Susan Dorion of Yuma, AZ and Susan Sparaco of Florida; a step-son, Bryan Kennedy of New Egypt; a step-daughter, Lisa Mifflin of Enumclaw, WA; a brother, Arnold Sparaco of Wrightstown; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services and burial for Carmine will be held on Tuesday, December 22 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel of the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Please meet Tuesday at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com) to drive to the cemetery in procession. Due to cemetery restrictions on flowers, memorial contributions in Carmine’s name can be made to Penn Medicine – Abramson Cancer Center, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (www.pennmedicine.org/give).
