Obituary of Wanda D. Pivovarnick

Wanda D. (Ruggerio) Pivovarnick, age 62, of New Egypt passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 19. Born in Plainfield, she lived in New Egypt for the past 35 years and formerly lived in Yardville and Hamilton.
Wanda was a 1971 graduate of North Plainfield High School and was employed as a mail carrier with the Princeton Junction Post Office. She was a member of the New Egypt Elks Lodge #2457 and was very proud to have serve as Exalted Ruler from 2002 – 2003. She was an associate member of the Lacey Elks Lodge #2518 in Forked River. Wanda enjoyed traveling, visiting the casinos, and living on their boat during the summer. Wanda loved to cook, read and was an avid movie buff. She was a wonderful person who loved her husband with all of her heart. She got great joy spending time with her family especially her six grandchildren.
Wanda was predeceased by her father Peter Ruggerio. She is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Jeff Pivovarnick; two sons, Philip Russo and wife Kimberly of Brick and Christopher Russo of Trenton; a daughter, Jessica Russo of Ocala, FL; her mother, Grace Ruggerio of Edgewater, FL; six grandchildren, Brooke, Summer, Landon, Autumn, Mia and Grace; a brother, Peter Ruggerio of Key West, FL; two sisters, Gloria Serido and husband Robert of North Carolina and Diana Merola of Titusville, FL; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael R. and Ruth L. Pivovarnick of Hamilton; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael and Sue Pivovarnick, Robert Gary and Cindi Pivovarnick and Ted and Betty Pivovarnick all of Hamilton, Robin Pivovarnick Taylor of Ewing and Nancy and John Wiggins of Yardville; many nieces and nephews; a very close friend Jeanie Golden and her beloved dog, Beau.
Funeral services for Wanda will be held on Friday, February 26 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com). Calling hours will be on Thursday evening, February 25 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home with Elk’s Services at 8:00 PM.
