Obituary of Betty Lou Lorenzo

Betty Lou Lorenzo, age 83, of Warton, NJ passed away Tuesday, February 23 in Florida. Born in Syracuse. NY, she lived in Warton before moving to Florida to six months ago. Betty Lou worked as a nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City, she also worked as a secretary in the Guidance Department of the Warton School System as well as working as an Administrative Assistant at BASF in Parsippany. Betty Lou attended the Bethlehem Church in Randolph and enjoyed ballroom dancing and gardening. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Lorenzo. Betty Lou is survived by a daughter and son-in law, Suzanne Lorenzo Wilt Falk and Larry Falk of Wellington, FL, a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Alice Lorenzo of Voorhees, NJ, a daughter and son-in law Brenda and Chris DiMeglio of Belle Mead, NJ; four grandchildren, Michala Wilt, Matthew and Nicholas Angrisani and Ryan Lorenzo and a brother, George Rudat of Punta Gorda, FL. Funeral services for Betty Lou will be held on Monday, February 29 at 12:00 Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.tilghmanfh.com), with burial to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. Calling hours will be on Monday morning from 10:30 to Noon at the funeral home. Due to cemetery restrictions on flowers, memorial contributions in Betty Lou’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
