Joan (Lyle) Robson, age 84, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Care One in Moorestown. Mrs. Robson was a long time Jacobstown resident and worked most of her life as the Principal’s Secretary at the Jacobstown Elementary School. Born in Staten Island New York she was the daughter of Sylvester and Ethel Lyle. She moved to Allentown, NJ and graduate from Allentown High School. She was married to the late Arthur Robson for 52 years. She is also the mother of the late Neil Robson both Neil and Arthur died in 2006. She is also predeceased by her brothers James Lyle and Fredrick Lyle and her sister Ethel Murphy. She is survived by her son Mark Robson and his wife Patricia of Jacobstown and her daughter Marybeth Tearnen and her husband Paul of Seattle as well as her two granddaughters, Rosemarie Robson of Allentown and Christina Robson of Manhattan and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Church of the Assumption Chapel on Saturday, July 16 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt, a funeral Mass will take place at Church of the Assumption Chapel, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt at 10:00 AM celebrated by Rev. Joseph J Farrell.
