Obituary of Blanche F. Hallock

Blanche M. (Fischer) Hallock, age 94, of New Egypt passed away Saturday, June 25 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Cranbury, NJ, she was a resident of New Egypt since 1952. Blanche along with her husband and family have operated Hallock’s U-Pick Farm in New Egypt for over 70 years. She was a parishioner at the Church of the Assumption and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Blanche was a member of the New Egypt Historical Society, the American Legion Post 455 Auxiliary in New Egypt, the Central Jersey Tractor Pullers Association and she had been active with the Cub Scouts as a Den Mother.
Blanche was predeceased by her husband Robert I. Hallock in 2008, a son Peter Hallock in 2013 and by three siblings Margaret Koury, Rita Durner and Joseph Fischer. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Hallock) Grover and boyfriend John Lenart of New Egypt; three sons, Douglas Hallock and fiancée Jean Robson of New Egypt, Robert A. Hallock and wife Sue of Jackson and Charles Hallock and wife Tricia of New Egypt; a sister, Annette Murphy of Cranbury; a brother, George Fischer of North Carolina; six grandchildren, Christopher Grover and wife Liz, Crystal Nilsen and husband Doug, Danielle LiPira and husband Todd, Stacey Hallock and boyfriend Tyler, Jennalee Staves and husband Kyle and Jessica Rasmussen and fiancé Nick; three great grandchildren, Dixie and Dougie Nilsen and Savannah LiPira and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Blanche will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption (St. Isidore the Farmer Parish), 28 Monmouth Road (Route 537), Wrightstown, NJ 08562 with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery on Evergreen Road in New Egypt. Calling hours will be on Thursday evening, June 30 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM and again on Friday morning July 1 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
